MA Design - Methodology
MA Design For MA Design, semester A involved research behind design. For semester B, I will start by including research so far. The rationale behind MA Design is to develop and co-design my original graphic novel, Cloudbusting, as it was conceived in the original dream, to include missing elements for a second edition re-issue, and / or a sequel. The double diamond of design theory defines the problem and develops the solution. Below is a mindmap created to position research behind and in-through design with praxis, including research so far, and how I will approach this. It is designed to follow the London Underground tube map, with each existing trainline representing particular aspects of research and methodology, which are defined in the key.
